" "I'm excited to be part of this Millennium Fellowship because I see the value in every SDG. We collectively have made many new advancements and gotten closer to achieving every goal in many ways. However, there is still a long way to go, and I'm grateful I get to be part of a project that brings us one step closer. This fellowship will allow me to not only build on the skills I already possess but also develop new ones. I'm ready for the challenges we may face because I know I will learn a lot during the process. I'm ready to build my leadership, creativity, and teamwork skills among many others.” "

Millennium Fellowship Project: SustainHer Sip n' Thrift

SustainHer is a project created by Millennium Fellows who care about bringing
sustainability and women’s advocacy together. We’re teaming up across universities in Vienna to host thrift and donation events where students can exchange, buy, or donate clothes — while also creating space for open, honest conversations about women’s experiences on campus. Through these events, we hope to cut down on waste, support local women’s shelters, and build stronger, more supportive communities for women.

About the Millennium Fellow

Ciara Henze is a driven young student at Webster Vienna Private University, double majoring in Psychology and International Relations. She is from three countries, Germany, Kosovo, and Montenegro. Most of her life, she has lived outside, in countries such as Kenya and Italy. Being exposed to many different cultures is one of the many reasons why she is so passionate about fighting discrimination and injustice. She has repeatedly participated in and led clubs that raise awareness about discrimination. She aspires to keep fighting for what is right in her future career and to make an impact, no matter how big or small.
