" I know being part of this team will enhance my creativity, problem solving & ability to work with others who all have the same passion. I am excited to see how being part of Millennium Fellowship will also lead me to have more confidence in my own work but also within a team environment. I am excited to learn more about the UNAI goals and the driving mission force for the SDGs. I am excited to expand my knowledge and see how much I can learn so I can share with others in the future. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: SustainHer Sip n' Thrift
SustainHer is a project created by Millennium Fellows who care about bringing
sustainability and women’s advocacy together. We’re teaming up across universities in Vienna to host thrift and donation events where students can exchange, buy, or donate clothes — while also creating space for open, honest conversations about women’s experiences on campus. Through these events, we hope to cut down on waste, support local women’s shelters, and build stronger, more supportive communities for women.
About the Millennium Fellow
Hadrian Conklin is a motivated 2nd year undergraduate student at Webster. He is from Upstate New York and currently lives in Vienna Austria. He is incredibly motivated to make changes anywhere he can, from being a leader in sports to being a passionate student in the classroom. Every problem he sees, he breaks down into small attainable steps to achieve. He believes teamwork and dedication are the key aspects to success and is open for all ideas as bringing them all together often presents a unique solution. Hadrian hopes this oppertunity is the first guiding steps to advocate future problems and find sustaiable solutions that go hand in hand with the United Nations Sustainable Goals mission.
