" Being part of the Millennium Fellowship fulfills my desire to turn empathy into concrete action, granting me the agency to act and connecting me with like - minded peers who share this purpose. During my studies at university, I have gradually cultivated a core motivation centered on women’s empowerment and advancing public welfare. Through the Millennium Fellowship, I will translate academic insights into tangible initiatives. This aligns with the UN Sustainable Development Goals—specifically Gender Equality , Life on Land , and Partnerships for the Goals —and will unite me with global change - makers, amplifying our collective impact. I am deeply excited to deepen this mission through cross - border collaboration, transforming compassion into sustainable change while gaining invaluable lessons along the way. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Healing Paws

This project includes two parts. Firstly, we invite students and friends as volunteers to save stray animals. This can reduce the conflict between people and stray animals. And volunteers will take stray animals to shelter. The shelter works with the clinic, spays and neuters , feeds regularly and treats sick animals. Secondly, for animals with affinity, professionals will conduct simple training for them to make them more willing to approach humans. The rescue station and the psychological counseling room jointly use animals to assist psychological treatment to improve the therapeutic effect. In addition, we plan to publish the latest situation of stray animals on the Internet to attract volunteers and professionals. And in cooperation with the relevant associations of the school, the launch of official rescue activities to attract students to participate. In this process, stray animals have been rescued, the efficacy of psychological treatment has become better, and volunteers have gained experience in rescuing animals.
