About this opportunity
The Africa Leadership Accelerator is a 9-month fellowship program developed by Global Health Corps (GHC) to enhance the leadership and management capabilities of early to mid-career health professionals in Sub-Saharan Africa. The inaugural cohort, selected in October 2024, comprises fellows from Malawi, Rwanda, Uganda, and Zambia. To be eligible for the Africa Leadership Accelerator, applicants must be between the ages of 21 and 35 by September 1, 2024, and must be citizens of one of the participating countries: Malawi, Rwanda, Uganda, or Zambia. Candidates should be employed full-time in a non-clinical public health role and must have held their current position for at least six months at the time of application. Additionally, they must work for a public health organization based in one of the eligible countries and be able to provide written support from their employer confirming their participation in the program. There are no formal education or degree requirements, as Global Health Corps values a wide range of experiences and perspectives in public health leadership.
Please consult the host website to confirm these and other details regarding eligibility and deadlines.
