About this opportunity

The Environmental Justice in Tech (EJIT) Fellowship, hosted by Rooted Futures Lab, is a 12-week remote program running from June 15 to August 29, 2025, offering a $3,000 stipend. Fellows will lead projects at the intersection of environmental justice and technology, focusing on areas such as digital education, creative interventions, and data governance. Applicants should have experience with environmental justice through community work, lived experience, or academic study. Strong writing and communication skills, self-motivated project management abilities, and proficiency with digital collaboration tools (e.g., Slack, Zoom, Google Suite) are essential. A STEM background is not required, and individuals from interdisciplinary and traditionally "non-technical" fields are encouraged to apply
