About this opportunity
The Flagship Fellowship is a 16-week leadership and venture development program offered by the Watson Institute, aimed at empowering impact-driven entrepreneurs to scale their ventures effectively. The program commences with a 10-day in-person immersive experience in Boulder, Colorado, followed by 15 weeks of virtual sessions requiring a weekly commitment of 8–10 hours. Throughout this period, fellows participate in expert-led workshops covering topics such as Foundations, Data & Metrics, Go-To-Market strategies, Funding, Team Management, and Pitching. The curriculum also features an Impact Series, where renowned leaders and entrepreneurs share insights and mentor participants. A key component of the fellowship is the Basecamp—a 1–3 day workshop led by each fellow in their community to share their work, gather feedback, and network. The program culminates in a Summit, where fellows pitch their ventures to local leaders, funders, and entrepreneurs. Applicants must be leading an early-stage social impact venture that has begun engaging with customers or beneficiaries and showing initial results in impact and revenue. The fellowship is designed for entrepreneurs in the Problem-Solution or Product-Market Fit stages. Applicants must commit to the full 16-week program, including a 10-day in-person session in Boulder, Colorado, starting August 1st, and weekly virtual workshops held three times a week. While open globally, preference is given to applicants from the U.S., Mexico, East Africa, Brazil, Johor Bahru (Malaysia), and China. The program is fully funded, with potential stipends available based on progress and participation.
