About this opportunity

The Obama Foundation Leaders Program is for emerging leaders working in government, civil society, and the private sector who have demonstrated a commitment to advancing the common good. ​The Obama Foundation's Leaders Program is a six-month, fully-funded, non-residential virtual leadership development initiative aimed at emerging leaders aged 24 to 45 who are committed to advancing the common good. Applicants must be citizens, permanent residents, or have resided in an eligible region (Africa, Asia-Pacific, Europe, or the United States) for at least five years. They should have a minimum of three years of relevant leadership experience, demonstrate proficiency in English, and focus their work on creating positive change in their local communities or regions. Additionally, participants must refrain from engaging in electoral campaigns for political office during the program period. ​
