During the Millennium Fellowship, Team Aquarevive successfully engaged over 230 individuals from communities near Dhaka’s waterways, exceeding its initial target of 200 participants. Through posters, leaflets, and visual arts, the project raised awareness about waterway pollution and inspired community members to reduce waste disposal, support local environmental action, and spread awareness further. Post-event feedback reflected strong community interest and engagement. However, limited time restricted the ability to measure long-term environmental improvements, while stronger follow-up mechanisms, additional volunteers, and greater collaboration with environmental groups could have expanded the project’s impact.
