Gen Voice

Project Overview

Generation Voice is a youth-driven initiative that promotes inclusive perspectives on gender equality, political participation, and the role of the boy child. The project addresses misconceptions around equality and equity, emphasizing fairness and balanced representation. Through school visits and interactive discussions, it engages young people in critical thinking, encourages leadership, and fosters active participation in social change, aiming to build a more informed, equitable, and inclusive generation.

Project Impact

During the Millennium Fellowship, Generation Voice created meaningful impact by reaching approximately 600 children through interactive sessions focused on leadership, gender equality, and critical thinking. The project successfully fostered active participation, with children demonstrating improved understanding of fairness, inclusion, and social responsibility. While the outreach target of 1,000 children was partially achieved due to logistical and resource constraints, the initiative effectively inspired reflection and engagement among participants. The experience also highlighted the need for stronger follow-up mechanisms, improved resource allocation, and more structured impact tracking to ensure sustained learning and long-term impact.
