Being a design student, where problem-solving and critical thinking are the crux of every topic, has made her passionate about driving innovation towards sustainability and building better communities. Through her project, The People Forums, she hopes to empower survivors of trauma into gaining agency in their stories and enabling them to improve corporate workplaces and make them more inclusive. After graduation, she hopes to study international policy and management and work with the United Nations one day. We will be training trauma survivors to lead topical HR development sessions as “human books” and lending them in 1-hour capsules for groups of 5-10 employees, in order to improve workplace environments. Backed by psychology and sociology research, by facilitating deep conversations with trained Trauma survivors, the system creates corporate workplaces that are otherwise stressful and competitive, compassionate and inclusive.
