She was born in Lagos state, resides in Oyo state and is currently studying in the capital of Nigeria, Abuja. Serving With A Smile! aspires to sponsor accomodations and educate on dental hygiene for the highly marginalized, orphaned children in Bangladesh. These children, taken under the Dhaka Ahsania mission, are disadvantaged and do not have family to return to. Moreover, they may not have proper equipment to maintain oral hygiene, placing them in a compromised state and increasing their chances of developing oral diseases. This project will give them an opportunity to have access to education, a support system, and medical care. It will allow them to gain mentors and adult figures that will provide them with the nurturing and care they deserve. The accommodations will account for their education, meals, clothes, healthcare related items, and other necessities the children may need. The cost to accommodate each child will be approximately $65 USD. We are aiming to cover the costs for a minimum of 50 kids for the duration of a month. To do this, we will raise $3,250 USD for the Dhaka Ahsania Mission. We will also educate the children on proper oral health through video presentations and raise funds to provide 50 dental hygiene kits for 50 kids. We hope to surpass our goal and support as many children as possible.
