" I see the Millennium Fellowship as an avenue to spread my dreams and visions to all people. During an online leadership program for women in Africa(Female and more) which I participated in, we learnt about women in Africa who defied odds and broke through in areas particularly male dominated, reading those stories gave me a much-needed push in my self-esteem, to see women who broke through in areas that were not considered female related. It basically made me want to be better so I could also inspire females all around the world. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Project Advancing the SDGs

We discussed with the students from Maryland community secondary school, particularly the Ss1 -Ss3 (age 12-16) on the SDGs and educated them on the need for it and how to effectively partner with others to advance the SDGs we also talked about GCED (global citizenship education) . We encouraged them to be global citizens and by taking action to solve global challenges right now in there immediate environment. The issue tree method of GCED was used to proffer solutions to global challenges around them.
We accomplished talking to about 150 students and grouped them into groups of ten and had them draw the issue tre method of GCED.
