" Wellness is looking at the person as a whole. As an orchestra of parts: the body, the mind, the soul, and the planet. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: The Sustainable Wardrobe (formerly: The Slow Wardrobe)

"In the rushed world we live in today, happiness is often associated with having more. More money, more clothes, more prestige. This has unfortunately led to a rise in consumerism, that is damaging our planet and is violating human rights." - Lina

Lina is on a mission to raise awareness about sustainable and ethical consumption and production of clothes. Clothes bought from fast fashion shops are mainly made of polyester, which gets shed into waterways when using the washing machine, and ends up as micro-plastic pieces in the oceans.

To raise awareness, Lina is working on sewing her own capsule/minimalist closet from linen fabrics, which are sourced from the linen plant and are biodegradable. Through this initiative, Lina is working on documenting and sharing the process and her thoughts about minimalism/sustainable consumption and production through an instagram page.

Lina wants to give craftsmanship a voice in helping the world consume more consciously and ethically.
