" A popular quote reads "There is no knowledge without learning. There is no wisdom without experience." Being a part of the Millennium Fellowship will give me the opportunity to learn, know and apply wisdom collaboratively. The knowledge and skills I gain from Millennium Fellowship will make my social impact on schools and health communities more tangible and aligned with the UNAI principles and SDG's. I am excited to increase my anticipatory competence by envisioning new ways of learning. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Smile Better Initiative

SMILE BETTER INITIATE is inspired by the desire to see people healthy and happy while seeking for a better way of living in relationships to the goal of SDG 3.

The focus on the SDG 3 for this semester project is on Oral Health Education and Empowerment, where we educated youths and adults from within and around the university on maintaining a good oral hygiene, the pros and cons, sharing oral health care kits (toothpaste, toothbrushes and dental floss) and free dental checkup in collaboration with the Dentistry Department of Irrua Specialist Teaching Hospital (ISTH), Irrua, Edo State, Nigeria .
