" For a country where healthcare is mainly assessed by out-of-pocket expenditures, it is
cheaper and easier to prevent some sicknesses through simple lifestyle modifications than treat them. Thus the HEALTHIER project encourages people to adopts healthier alternatives in living.
During this program, I hope to receive training and recognition necessary for
implementing this project. I will also get valuable
exposure and experience while learning under the guidance and mentorship of
renowned experts. This will provide networking opportunities with a community of
people passionate about redefining healthcare through research in healthcare delivery systems in remote communities. "
