" Being a Millennium Fellow allows me to amplify my impact on my community by using my skills in Software Engineering to address critical social issues such as Female Genital Mutilation and early forced marriages. I am driven by the belief that with the right education and mentorship, young people can create lasting change in society. This fellowship is a step towards making that vision a reality for me and my community. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Jenga Vijana Program

The Jenga Vijana Program aims to tackle the issue of children's education being disrupted by traditional circumcision practices. Inspired by personal experiences, I'm passionate about ensuring every child has access to quality education, free from harmful traditions. Through advocacy campaigns and partnerships with local leaders and NGOs, we're raising awareness about the dangers of these practices. By bridging the gap between harmful traditions and accessible education, we're working towards a fairer society where all children can thrive.
