" SDG-3 vouches for Good health and well-being, which is a major drive behind the work I want to accomplish. Leaving a legacy which will be carried on, a good course which will serve the students of Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, it can even go beyond that but one starts change where he is. About the Millennium Fellow
Lenhle Bethusile Gamedze is a courageous, talented , competitive and passionate Food Science and Technology student and the University of Kwame Nkrumah in Ghana. Born and raised in the Kingdom of Eswatini by her single mother and relatives. Her life has been nothing but a lesson which gave her the ambition and encouragement to give out to her community in any way possible.
She struggled balancing her personal life and academia, but nevertheless that didn't stop her from being the best in her classes nor being a fighter just as her Grandfather would say. She understands mental health is a garden which needs pure thoughts planted, care and love because without a healthy mind and a good support system you cannot survive the harsh cruel world. It is her dream to inspire young people, support her peers and empower those older than her because everyone deserves to be heard and cared for.
