" I'm excited to be a Millennium Fellow because I believe that social impact is essential in driving positive changes in our community. Through my continuous interest coupled with experiences in public health, academic mentorship, and mental health advocacy, I've seen firsthand the power of collective action in creating a more equitable and just society. I do this work because I'm passionate about empowering others and leaving a lasting legacy that beyond my very existence. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Be BP Smart

BE BP SMART is a public health initiative that advances SDG 3. It is focused on combating hypertension, a silent killer affecting millions globally. The project aims to raise awareness about hypertension, promote lifestyle modifications, and facilitate early detection through free blood pressure screenings. By combining education with action, BE BP SMART empowers individuals to take control of their health and reduces the risk of complications associated with high blood pressure.
