I am excited to learn and grow throughout the fellowship. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Minda Health

Minda Health is a mental health reform initiative aimed at transforming Malaysia’s education system to address the growing prevalence of mental health challenges among students, such as stress, anxiety, and depression. These issues are often overlooked in traditional educational frameworks, leaving many students without the tools to manage their well-being.
The initiative focuses on developing a comprehensive curriculum framework for integrating mental health education into schools and crafting policy recommendations for government adoption. A significant milestone was the workshop held in June 2024 at a secondary school in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia, where students, teachers, and administrators participated in mental health awareness and early intervention training.
