Millennium Fellowship Project: NeuroAspire
The NeuroAspire Project is a transformative neuroscience initiative spearheaded by Solagbade Oluwapelumi Samuel. Its mission is to bridge the gap in neuroscience education by providing well-structured, interactive tutorials and resources tailored for medical students in Nigeria. NeuroAspire aims to boost knowledge and confidence in neuroscience concepts while fostering interest and excellence in the field. Through pre- and post-interventional studies, it evaluates the effectiveness of its approach, striving to make neuroscience education more impactful, inclusive, and globally competitive.
About the Millennium Fellow
Oluwapelumi Solagbade is a passionate medical student at Obafemi Awolowo University with a keen interest in neuroscience, particularly in neurodegenerative diseases. A recipient of multiple prestigious awards, he is dedicated to advancing brain health in Africa. Oluwapelumi has been recognized for his academic excellence and leadership, including winning national essay competitions and being selected for international neuroscience programs. He aims to become a neurologist-neuroscientist, conducting groundbreaking research and advocating for inclusive, quality brain health across the continent.
