Millennium Fellowship Project: Be Green

My project focuses on empowering youth to take actionable steps toward combating climate change through advocacy, education, and community engagement. The primary goal is to raise awareness about climate change, encourage sustainable practices, and inspire young people to lead climate initiatives in their communities.
To achieve this, I organized workshops on sustainable practices, hosted webinars on climate policy, and collaborated with local organizations to implement tree-planting campaigns. Through these efforts, the project has reached over 50 participants, facilitated the planting of 20 trees, and initiated three community-led recycling programs.
Moving forward, I aim to expand the project to more communities, focusing on capacity-building programs for youth leaders in climate advocacy. By empowering the next generation, we can create a sustainable future and make a tangible impact on the global fight against climate change.
