Millennium Fellowship Project: Combating Non-Communicable Diseases for a Healthier Tomorrow
This project focuses on addressing the growing burden of non-communicable diseases (NCDs) within the local community of Ifakara Morogoro, Tanzania aligning with Sustainable Development Goal 3 (Good Health and Well-being). Through community education, awareness campaigns and health screenings the project aims to empower individuals with knowledge and resources to prevent and manage NCDs such as hypertension, diabetes and obesity by fostering healthier lifestyle choices
About the Millennium Fellow
My name is Meinrad Chrisostom Msuha, born in November 2001 in Mbeya Tanzania. I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Medicine at St. Francis University College of Health and Allied Sciences (SFUCHAS) in Morogoro, Tanzania. I am passionate about making a positive impact in my community, particularly through sustainable development programs aimed at improving health. My goal is to contribute to long-term, meaningful change in healthcare, ensuring better access and outcomes for underserved populations
