Millennium Fellowship Project: Seedlings Initiative

Based on my commitment to Sustainable Development Goal 4 (Quality Education), My Project " Seedlings Initiative" is based on providing inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all. This project aimed to improve access to quality education for primary and secondary students in marginalized communities. The Initiative focused on distributing books and study materials to over 100 students and organizing educational activities and mentoring programs to foster academic growth and personal development.

About the Millennium Fellow

Rachael O. Alatise is a dedicated and talented medical student at the University of Abuja, Nigeria. Born and raised in the southwestern region of Nigeria, Rachael has always exhibited strong leadership qualities and a relentless drive to fight for what she believes in. From a young age, she has actively participated in, volunteered for, and organized various social initiatives, beginning in high school and continuing through her college years.
In high school, Rachael co-founded a startup NGO with a few of her friends, reflecting her commitment to social change. Through this NGO and other platforms, she aspires to make significant contributions to the achievement of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
She is very much passionate about SDGs 3 (Good Health and Well-being) and 4 (Quality Education).
