Sustainable Development Goal 3 addresses Health and Wellbeing. Mental health is an aspect of health that is often neglected especially in this part of the world. Mental health advocacy and awareness seek to address all issues that forms barricades against people seeking help on time
About the Millennium Fellow
Faith Omini Iwara is a diligent, driven, and hardworking young undergraduate at the University of Calabar earning a bachelor's degree in public health science. She was born in the Ugep local government area of Cross River state and now lives in Calabar, Nigeria. She is a responsible and patriotic citizen of her country and the globe at large. Faith has always been passionate about advocating for gender equality, women in leadership, and climate action. This has motivated her to participate in various leadership trainings, volunteer in climate action, and remain committed to volunteerism. Throughout her high school years (secondary school years) and now at university, she has effectively collaborated in organizing projects and working in climate action, which she hopes to accomplish more in the future. Faith wishes to work in a professional field where she can put her beliefs into action and contribute to the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals.
