" I'm excited to be a Millennium Fellowship because it offers a unique platform to connect with like minded individuals who are passionate about making a difference in the society. Through this fellowship, I hope to improve the impact of my work in recycling and education, inspiring more young people in rural Africa to dream big and achieve their goals. The opportunity to learn, grow and contribute to a global community of changemakers fuels my commitment to creating sustainable change. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Textile Advancing Impact

My project is called Textile Advancing Impact (TAI).The project was already existing before i start Millennium Fellowship but it was at its foundational stage and as a communication and outreach of textile advancing impact i wanted to take the opportunity to atleast change the lifes of others during Millennium Fellowship semester. Textile Advancing Impact focuses on creating sustainable bags for children in rural Africa. These bags were made using innovative recycle materials which are designed to conserve heat and keep food warm ensuring children could enjoy warm meals after school, school pack bags to take books to school. Alongside the bags, working on providing career inspiring books to empower young learners, motivate them and broaden their aspirations, aiming to support education and sustainability in underserved communities.
