" Being part of Millennium Fellowship will help me with the skills to be a better leader. Also I am excited for the opportunity to interact and learn from the other fellows but most importantly it's how Millennium Fellowship offers me an opportunity to gain skills and knowledge that will help me better my community. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Green Roots
Green roots is a sustainable tree-planting initiative intended to improve biodiversity and restore ecosystems. The primary aim of Green Roots is to combat deforestation and soil erosion while providing a greener, healthier environment for local communities. Trees play an essential role in carbon sequestration, reducing the urban heat island effect, and supporting local biodiversity. Our ultimate goal is not just to plant trees but to instill in the local community an appreciation for conservation efforts, allowing them to become active stewards of their environment.
