Millennium Fellowship Project: Cervical Cancer Awareness
Cervical Cancer Awareness, as the name implies is a community centered awareness and HPV vaccination initiative carried out by the Millennium Fellows of Abia State University. Our goal was to bridge the knowledge gap surrounding cervical cancer and empower young girls with accurate information and increase the uptake of the HPV vaccine within our local community.
About the Millennium Fellow
Blessing Chiamaka Nganwuchu from Imo state, Nigeria is a dedicated medical student at Abia State University with a passion for social impact, leadership, and community development. As the liaison officer for the NIMSA National Mentorship Program, she coordinated over 40 mentor–mentee relationships, and as Vice President of her Catholic medical student association, she spearheaded mental health and faith-based initiatives for over 100 members. With a strong interest in eradicating child labor, she is committed to raising awareness and driving change through advocacy, education, and volunteer work. Combining academic excellence with creativity as a graphic designer, she thrives on using her skills to inspire, organize, and empower others.
