United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. This year, 60,000+ young leaders applied to join the Class of 2025 on 7,000+ campuses across 170 nations. 290+ campuses worldwide (less than 5%) were selected to host the 4,500+ Millennium Fellows.

Millennium Fellowship Project: CLEAN HANDS,HEALTHY LIFE

Clean Hands, Healthy Life” is a public health initiative aimed at promoting proper hand hygiene practices to prevent the spread of infections. The project educates individuals and communities on the importance of regular handwashing with soap and clean water to improve overall health and well-being. About the Millennium Fellow

Diekololaoluwa Adegbenro is a persistent learner as well as warm and personable individual in her final year studying Medicine and Surgery at Afe Babalola University, Ado Ekiti. She was born and raised in Ondo state, Nigeria. She is very curious and thorough in everything she does and also very hardworking and diligent. She is very passionate about her values and goals and wouldn't stop until she has left a great impact in the world at large. Diekololaoluwa is very passionate about women and children's rights hence why she joined the Millennium Fellowship to learn and unlearn while making the world a better place with her contributions and values. She is also quite passionate about non profit organizations and outreaches to give back to people and she is hoping to have a foundation soon.
