Millennium Fellowship Project: Fact Shield Project (Community Action Against Disinformation)

The Fact Shield Project focuses on raising awareness about the dangers of disinformation and helping people understand how false information affects their daily lives, decisions, and social interactions. Through awareness sessions, discussions, and outreach, the project aims to build critical thinking skills, promote responsible online behavior, and empower individuals to verify information before sharing it. The project creates a safe space for conversations about media literacy and encourages students and community members to become more informed and conscious digital citizens.

About the Millennium Fellow

Atiq ur Rehman has always been passionate about making a difference in society. From his school days to his college years, he took the lead in organizing projects and joined hands with others in social movements that aimed to bring positive change. Now a student at Air University Islamabad, he hopes to carry this passion forward, using social movements as a way to inspire action, raise awareness, and work toward a fairer, more inclusive society.
