The platform is open to everyone, with a special focus on environmental engagement and awareness. The project was successfully put in place through the creation of an Instagram page, along with compiling a list of NGOs that were contacted or identified for future collaboration to expand outreach and impact.
About the Millennium Fellow
Teya Hawilleh is a bright aspiring young lady aged 19 who was born and raised in Kuwait and is currently studying in the American University of Beirut in Lebanon. Growing up, she initially aimed to be a doctor, for the sole purpose of being able to help people, but as she grew up she was lured in by the career of Environmental studies. Teya saw a unknown major that has a huge hidden potential to help people, and learnt the silent harm that is being caused to the people by the neglect of our planet. Teya ie currently pursuing a Bachelor Degree in Environmental Science, and hopes to help out slowly to eventually hopefully be able to reach a global influence to help our planet. But to achieve that, she needs help, and the Fellowmanship will be the perfect tool to start making an impact.
