" Our goal at TAZhealth is to improve health outcomes by addressing healthcare access challenges and empowering individuals with the knowledge and resources needed to lead healthier lives through impactful outreach programs and advocacy. Being part of the Millennium Fellowship will help TAZhealth build more credibility and equip us with the necessary skills and tools needed to make a lasting impact in our community by providing less privileged communities with the healthcare they deserve. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: TAZhealth
TAZhealth is a health oriented project mainly in line with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 3—Good Health and Wellbeing. It also supports SDGs 4 and 10. It is very unfortunate that due to poverty and a host of other issues in Nigeria, a large percentage of Nigerians cannot access adequate healthcare. Hence, TAZhealth is geared towards fostering better health outcomes by ensuring proper healthcare access for those who truly need it but face barriers obtaining it. The vision for this project is to promote adequate public health and healthcare by driving impactful initiatives (especially public health outreach programs) and raising awareness in underserved communities. With this project, I aim to lead efforts to reach underserved communities within Nigeria and the world (in the future) with adequate health education and healthcare through public health outreach programs and other similar initiatives.
