United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. This year, 60,000+ young leaders applied to join the Class of 2025 on 7,000+ campuses across 170 nations. 290+ campuses worldwide (less than 5%) were selected to host the 4,500+ Millennium Fellows.

Millennium Fellowship Project: Mentorship and Orientation Program

Project Description (Summary):
The Millennium Project is a community-based program that aims at promoting educational growth and empowerment in Kano city and Dala LGA in particular. It includes academic mentorship, JAMB orientation activities, and scholarship advising, assisting learners in overcoming their academic struggles, making wise career decisions, as well as gaining the means to receive further instruction. The project will provide participants with the knowledge, skills and resources in order to succeed both in academics and in the workplace through the use of structured mentorship and focused orientation.

About the Millennium Fellow

Muhammad Muaz Sani is a final-year medical student at Bayero University Kano, an entrepreneur, and a passionate data analyst. He combines his medical training with analytical skills to solve problems in healthcare and beyond. Muhammad is actively involved in community development through mentorship, scholarship guidance, and medical outreach. With strong interests in health, technology, and innovation, he aspires to become a medical director, an excellent entrepreneur, and a skilled data analyst, using his knowledge to drive impact in both medicine and business.
