" I am passionate about using communication and leadership to inspire change and improve lives. The Millennium Fellowship excites me because it provides an opportunity to refine my ideas, learn from like-minded peers around the world, and create projects that make a real difference in my community. This experience will strengthen my capacity to contribute meaningfully to the Sustainable Development Goals while growing as a socially responsible leader. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: IMHYA: Improving Mental Health in Young Adults

"IMHYA is a youth-led mental health initiative. The project focuses on helping students understand common mental health challenges, reducing stigma, and providing practical tools they can use in their daily lives.
Through workshops, peer listening circles, and digital awareness campaigns, IMHYA makes mental health education accessible, relatable, and culturally sensitive. IMHYA aims to build a supportive community where young adults feel seen, heard, and safe enough to speak up about their struggles. The long-term vision is to create a sustainable model that can continue even beyond the fellowship."
