" Justice, empathy, and the power of dialogue drive my commitment to the law and social change. I believe the Millennium Fellowship will equip me with the skills, network, and perspective to create social impact. I am excited to collaborate with like-minded change makers and translate ideas into meaningful action. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Project Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam
Project Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam is an initiative in Bangalore aimed at fostering inclusivity and social responsibility along with a sense of connection among migrant students and local residents. The project recognizes that many students who move to the city experience cultural adjustment challenges, isolation, and limited community support. At the same time, locals may feel hesitant to engage with newcomers, creating a silent divide.
To fix this, the project involves check-ins that could be monthly with the migrant students helping them adjust, and ensuring they feel welcomed and included, and also organizing events such as a cleanliness drive at lakes and tree planting, focused on diversity and sustainability.
