Millennium Fellowship Project: She Rise Foundation
She Rise Foundation is a project aimed at encouraging and promoting girls and enlighten them that they should not look down upon themselves as they are equally important just like boys. I hope that by December 2025, I shall have ensured that girls who used to despise themselves are reached out and made aware that they have a potential of changing their journey of living. This will ensure that there is equality promotion between girls and boys.
About the Millennium Fellow
Chifundo Sulumba is a young energetic and aspiring lady in wide aspects, pursuing her Bachelor degree in Secondary Education, Social Science to be specific.
She was born in Malawi, raised there and working there too as a primary school teacher. As a young woman and her career, she has been a role model to young people and an influencer to many people around her in such a way that; as you know, Malawi is one of the poorest countries that mostly depend on Farming,and due to climate change crisis, there has always been challenges to overcome hunger, so she would come up with ideas and share with the people on what and how to do to have bamper yield and food security all year round. Her paddinate has always been about people.
