Millennium Fellowship Project: Ehsaas for Humanity
Ehsaas for Humanity is a community-focused social work project aimed at supporting underprivileged families in Delhi-NCR. The project addresses issues of poverty, inequality, and limited access to basic resources by organizing donation drives, volunteer-led outreach activities, and awareness campaigns. Its goals are to provide essential aid, foster collective responsibility, and promote values of empathy and kindness within the community.
About the Millennium Fellow
Harshita Chojer is a dedicated and empathetic psychology major at Delhi University with a deep passion for advancing mental health care and ensuring accessibility for all. Over the years, she has worked with multiple mental health organisations, organised Social and Emotional Learning workshops in orphanages, underprivileged communities, and schools, and led youth-focused initiatives that bridge awareness with action. Her experiences include leadership roles in NGOs, extensive volunteering, and contributing to corporate wellness programs, bringing emotional well-being into both community and professional spaces. Guided by empathy and a belief that care should never be a privileged, Harshita aspires to create a world where mental health support is inclusive, accessible, and free from stigma.
