Millennium Fellowship Project: Education for All

Their is a huge disparities between education in rural areas and in urban areas.Rural areas faces lots of problems ( poor infrastructure, quality teachers, lack of technology, outdated curriculum, exposure , money problem and many more).some students even have to travel long distance for proper education facilities some even everyday. One of the solutions can be establishing a learning center or a library in the village. It can be small, however, provided that there are computers with internet connection, along with relevant study materials of books which the students would be able to borrow. Local bodies like village committees or temples can sponsor the development of these facilities. With the aid of the internet, the center can specific to rural area students, assist them in career guidance and preparation for key examinations that is held after their secondary school education. Even, enabling the students to interact and engage with the global society, can make a positive difference to their lives providing them better prospects.
