Millennium Fellowship Project: Promoting Economic Growth Through Unemployment Reduction
My project is a community focused project aimed at reducing unemployment through skill development and empowerment initiatives. During the Millennium Fellowship, my project focused on reducing unemployment in my community by equipping youths with practical skills and promoting self-reliance. I successfully introduced participants to skills such as graphics design, barbing, and tailoring, which provided them with alternative income opportunities.
Compared to my goals, I was able to reach more participants than anticipated and increase awareness about the importance of skill development for employment.
