" I'm excited to be a Millennium Fellow because it provides a platform to promote maternal and child nutrition, directly advancing SDG 2 (Zero Hunger) and SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being). I believe good nutrition significantly enhances the productivity of individuals and communities, and it is a right—not a privileged. Every mother and child deserves a healthy start in life. The training provided by the Millennium Fellowship will strengthen my leadership skills and equip me to become a more impactful and community-driven leader. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Eat healthy

"Eat Healthy" is a Millennium Fellowship group project focused on promoting maternal and child health through proper nutrition. The project aims to educate mothers—especially in rural communities—on the importance of balanced diets during pregnancy, exclusive breastfeeding (EBF), and early childhood. By addressing knowledge gaps and encouraging sustainable food practices, "Eat Healthy" supports SDGs 2 (Zero Hunger), 3 (Good Health and Well-being), and 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production). Through health talks, simple demonstrations, and resource distribution, the project empowers expecting, pregnant women and nursing mothers to make informed nutritional choices for themselves and their children. Thereby improving their health outcomes.
