Millennium Fellowship Project: PROMOTING MENSTRUAL HEALTH BREAKING THE STIGMA
This is a community project carried out but a few of us Millennium Fellows in the school Government junior secondary school Mararaba Akunza, LAFIA Nasarawa state Nigeria. We are aimed at educating young females on the importance of menstrual health and how to keep good hygiene during this biological occurrence. We also aim to educate the male community on how to give support to the females during their monthly flow and also give them proper education to eradicate the stigmas around menstruation.
About the Millennium Fellow
FAVOUR ZACK LOKO is a beautiful, intelligent and resilient young lady, very enthusiastic about her passions and aspirations. She was born in moroa river right in Nasarawa state Nigeria. she hails from kokona Local government area Nasarawa state. She acquired her o'level certificate at Saint Peter and Paul comprehensive College Akwaibom state and is currently a Medical Laboratory Science student studying at Federal University of Lafia. She has always been passionate about bringing social impacts to her community particular to youths around , this has driven her to take up various executive roles. These roles have been measured as a yardstick to promote her dreams. She has been opportune to be part of outreach teams who've gone out to make social awareness over various health concerns that have been greatly undercooked. She looks forward to taking this opportunity as a global platform to make an impact in her small community .
