United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. This year, 60,000+ young leaders applied to join the Class of 2025 on 7,000+ campuses across 170 nations. 290+ campuses worldwide (less than 5%) were selected to host the 4,500+ Millennium Fellows.

Millennium Fellowship Project: Balanced Minds, Brighter Futures

Balanced Minds, Brighter Future is a project targeting university students that promotes mental well-being alongside quality education. During the Millennium Fellowship, the initiative created supportive spaces for open dialogue, raised awareness about stress management, and provided practical tools to help students maintain a balanced mind. By integrating mental health education into its activities, the project strengthened students’ focus, learning, and academic performance, demonstrating that emotional well-being is essential to achieving quality education and empowering students for a brighter, more resilient future.

About the Millennium Fellow

Racheal Adewole is an Health Education Student of Federal University Oye Ekiti. She was born in Lagos State, resides in Ogun State and currently studying in Oye Ekiti, Ekiti State, Nigeria. She is driven by a passion for quality education and good health and well-being. She believes education empowers individuals and fosters purpose, while good health is the foundation for fulfilling lives. Racheal advocates for initiatives bridging gaps in education and healthcare, championing programs for marginalized communities. Her holistic approach recognizes the link between education and health, striving to create synergies between programs. Through her work, Racheal inspires others, fostering collective responsibility for societal well-being. Her dedication demonstrates the positive impact one individual can make, inspiring a brighter future for generations.
