United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. This year, 60,000+ young leaders applied to join the Class of 2025 on 7,000+ campuses across 170 nations. 290+ campuses worldwide (less than 5%) were selected to host the 4,500+ Millennium Fellows.

Millennium Fellowship Project: Collective efforts for Collective good

Project Title: Clean Water & Education Awareness Initiative – Havile Nathoka
Project Description:
This project, led by Ali Haider under the Millennium Fellowship, aimed to address the long-standing lack of clean drinking water and promote quality education in Havile Nathoka. Through an Awareness & Fundraising Seminar, school outreach, and community engagement activities, the initiative raised awareness about waterborne diseases, encouraged hygiene practices, and mobilized community support for installing a Water Filtration Plant. The project was funded by family and friends and executed in collaboration with the Nathoka Welfare Foundation, reaching over 200 participants and generating PKR 20,000 in initial contributions.

About the Millennium Fellow

Ali Haider is young, bright, and good student of Government College University Lahore. He born in a marginalised village of Punjab, Pakistan.He did his matric from Government school and achieved 100% scholarship in intermediate. After doing Fsc ,he joined the University and Started his career in International Relations and Law.He is passionate about learning International law,Human Rights, Global Governance and Global politics. He is also interested in social work with collaboration of inter and intra University societies. Currently he is doing Aspire leadership program which is offered by Harvard University. He is hopeful for playing positive role in society by fulfilling SDGs by social work.
