ABOUT THE MILLENNIUM FELLOWSHIP - CLASS OF 2025

United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. This year, 60,000+ young leaders applied to join the Class of 2025 on 7,000+ campuses across 170 nations. 290+ campuses worldwide (less than 5%) were selected to host the 4,500+ Millennium Fellows.

Millennium Fellowship Project: Hope Under The Sky

Our project called "Hope Under Sky."
Our goal with this project is to help roadside children, Those who grow up in tough conditions without proper shelter, education or care. We want to give them a sense of hope and belonging, even if they don't have roof over their heads.
Through Hope Under The Sky, we plan to focus on few key things:
1. Basic Needs: Providing food clean cloths, and health support when possible.
2. Education: Setting up small learning groups where volunteers can teach them basic literary and skills.
3. Emotional: Making them feel seen, heard and value. Many of these kids don't have anyone to talk to, and we want them to know they matter.
4. Awareness Events on child rights: We will also arrange events to arise awareness about child rights. These event will help both the children and the community understand the rights every child deserves like the right to education, safety. and a life free from exploitation.

About the Millennium Fellow

Leonora Sophia Muñoz, a pre-law student at Sciences Po in France, is a globally minded youth from the Philippines who now lives in Qatar. Passionate about social justice, immigrant rights, and women’s empowerment, she has led various projects and movements since high school. With her strong leadership, Sophia hopes to continue her advocacies and contribute to the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals.
