Millennium Fellowship Project: Pregnancy induced hypertension among pregnant women
This project focuses on addressing pregnancy-induced hypertension by promoting awareness and routine screening of pregnant women during antenatal care (ANC) visits using SMART approaches for effective and measurable outcomes. Targeting pregnant women, the initiative works with local health centers to provide regular blood pressure checks and practical guidance on stress management, diet, and rest. The project also trains community health workers to identify early warning signs and offer timely referrals, develops easy-to-understand educational materials in local languages, and organizes community forums and support groups. By engaging families, local leaders, and society, the project aims to ensure safe, healthy pregnancies through early detection, education, and a supportive environment for mothers.
