UNITED NATIONS ACADEMIC IMPACT AND MCN PROUDLY PRESENT ABRAHAM TAYO OGUNLOWO, A MILLENNIUM FELLOW FOR THE CLASS OF 2025.
University of Ibadan | Ibadan, Nigeria | Advancing SDG 4, SDG 10, SDG 17 & UNAI 3

" I am excited to be a Millennium Fellow because it will enable me to further my work in combating antimicrobial resistance (AMR) and contributing to SDG3 and SDG4—good health and quality education for all. This fellowship is an amazing opportunity to learn from fellow change makers, refine effective solutions, and advance community-led initiatives addressing some of the most critical health and education challenges of our times. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Awareness Creation of SDGs
My project focused on educating young students about the SDGs, especially concentrating on SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being.
I visited a secondary school with some other fellows on my campus, where we introduced the students to the 17 SDGs and then I discussed Lupus, an autoimmune disease that seldom finds attention from the general public.
Taking Lupus as a real example helped the students understand better the importance of health awareness, early detection, and community support, thereby connecting global goals with real-life health challenges
