" I am excited to be a Millennium Fellow because it offers a unique platform to learn and collaborate with like-minded individuals who are passionate about impactful change. This opportunity will not only deepen my understanding of sustainable social impact but also equip me with the skills and networks to advance gender equality and empower women and girls. I believe the Fellowship will amplify my voice, sharpen my strategies, and bring my vision for lasting change closer to reality. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: EmpowerHer Project

"As part of our Millennium Campus Fellowship project, we carried out an outreach to three schools serving students living with disabilities (specifically the deaf and hard of hearing). The project focused on Menstrual Hygiene and Health Education, where we educated the students on proper menstrual care, hygiene practices, and body awareness. We distributed sanitary pads and soap to support their hygiene needs. In addition, we held an educational empowerment session aimed at inspiring excellence despite limitations, including the screening of a motivational video by the first female NTA broadcaster living with a disability, now based abroad. This was to promote self-belief, excellence, and inclusion, showing them that disability is not inability.
Our goal was to promote SDG 3 (Good Health & Well-being) and SDG 4 (Quality Education) while fostering dignity, confidence, and inclusive health education."
