United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. This year, 60,000+ young leaders applied to join the Class of 2025 on 7,000+ campuses across 170 nations. 290+ campuses worldwide (less than 5%) were selected to host the 4,500+ Millennium Fellows.

Millennium Fellowship Project: Skill acquisition and empowerment programme

It's a skill acquisition and empowerment programme in furtherance of my commitment to alleviating poverty. The project impacted over 200 students with income generating skills like; Nail fixing, gele tying, crotchet, resin art, makeup artistry, cakes and small chops, liquid wash and air freshener. At the end of the programme which was a two day programme, I was able to impact over 200 students with skills, they experience first hand with brand owners in the various fields

About the Millennium Fellow

Victoria Onize is a law student at the University of Ibadan with a deep passion for justice, innovation, and helping others. Growing up in humble circumstances, she has turned her challenges into motivation, excelling in her studies while leading projects that make a real difference. She founded the Onize Foundation to support vulnerable people, making sure children don't go hungry and dreams don't fade for lack of support. With a vision that combines law, technology, and social impact, she is committed to building systems that empower people and create lasting change.
