" I believe education is the foundation of equality. Through initiatives like Robin Hood Academy, I've seen how small efforts can transform lives. The Millennium Fellowship excites me because it amplifies this impact by connecting like-minded change makers and giving us a platform to create inclusive, sustainable solutions for the future. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Learning Ladder

My initiative focuses on United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 4: Quality Education, aiming to bridge the gap of illiteracy by providing informal learning to children aged 4–13. Through weekly sessions in nearby localities, I teach the basics of math, English and general awareness to prepare them for formal schooling. I began by learning from an NGO’s Academic Unit in Kolkata, where classes are held in open spaces like bus stops. Inspired by their model, I trying to bring a similar effort to Kharagpur, hoping to create curiosity-driven learning environments for children who deserve a fair start
