Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University | New Delhi, India | Advancing SDG 16 & UNAI 9

" Using my skills to help people brings immense satisfaction to me. Through this fellowship, I would not only have the opportunity to assist people, but I would also connect with more global change makers, which would, in turn, expose me to innovative ideas aimed at enhancing the well-being of humanity. I am therefore excited about my contribution to the SDGs as a UNAI Millennium Fellow. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Know your Hak(Rights)
My project aka Know your Hak(Rights) will primarily be about spreading legal awareness among the vulnerable segments of the population. This would be on the lines of my previous work experience in the field of legal awareness as I have previously mentioned in my round 1 application. How it will be different then? Well, first of all I would focus more on youth in the beginning as there are a lot of existing programs, NGOs, etc working for other vulnerable groups(not saying that there is not a need of improvement there).Youth is the backbone of a country, even though some projects are there but they aren't that effective since youth looks for relatability, connect with the problem until they feel that they won't give their time and effort for the change. To make my project a success I would adopt some new gen mechanism to spread more and more awareness among youth like organising street play, creating engaging reels, role play, etc. After the initial stage we would try to replicate this process for other vulnerable groups as well expanding our impact on the society.
