UNITED NATIONS ACADEMIC IMPACT AND MCN PROUDLY PRESENT KARISMA JAHAN, A MILLENNIUM FELLOW FOR THE CLASS OF 2025.
Independent University Bangladesh | Dhaka, Bangladesh | Advancing SDG 2, SDG 4, SDG 10 & UNAI 9

" My passion for creating equal opportunities and eradicating social and economic discrimination drives my work with Amplitude in Bangladesh. Becoming a Millennium Fellow will allow me to strengthen my leadership, collaborate with like-minded change makers, and align my efforts with the principles and SDGs. I am excited to gain the skills and global perspective needed to amplify community impact and contribute to building a more just and inclusive world. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Project Aid for All
My project is about helping the underprivileged community by providing the necessary resources such as clothes, rations, and books. Working along with the Amplitude NGO in Dhaka, the initiative seeks to meet immediate needs pertaining to food insecurity, lack of proper clothing, and limited access to educational supplies.
The project involves organizing donation drives, collecting and sorting items, coordinating distribution in underserved areas, and ensuring that support reaches the families in need. This is not only about acute needs but also about dignity, well-being, and making sure the children have opportunities to pursue their education.
This project contributes toward several of the Sustainable Development Goals: SDG 1, No Poverty; SDG 2, Zero Hunger; SDG 3, Good Health and Well-Being; SDG 4, Quality Education; SDG 10, Reduced Inequalities; and SDG 17, Partnerships for the Goals. By achieving this through collaboration and community buy-in, the project will have a lasting positive impact and encourage ongoing support for vulnerable populations.
